In certain circumstances you may be able to top up your loan by logging into the ‘my account area of our site and clicking ‘Request additional credit’.
Available credit is calculated each time you apply for a loan with us and depends on your financial health and track record. If no extra credit is available, the option to top up will not appear in ‘my account’. If you want to apply for some or all of the available credit, we’ll still carry out our usual checks including a credit reference agency search.
The ‘Request additional credit’ feature will appear in ‘my account’ after your original loan has been sent to you, if we think you might be suitable for extra credit.
If your application for additional credit is successful, you’ll enter into a new credit agreement for the extra amount. The cash will be paid into the same bank account as the original loan. You’ll also be required to pay an additional £5.50 transmission fee for each top up. This will be added to your outstanding balance. Interest will continue to accrue daily on your total outstanding balance (which includes the £5.50 transmission fee) at the same rate as on your original loan. All funds (including the original loan and top-up loan) plus fees and interest will then be due for repayment on the original promise date.
